Don't waste your money. These guys did flat roof work for me in 2024, and SAID it was guaranteed for 15 years. In theory, great. In practice, the roof started leaking less than a year after completion. They came out to fix it, but the leaking started again less than six months after. I've tried to get in touch with them, but they've blocked my number, don't answer calls to their land-line, and outright ignore emails. I'm left with a leaky roof and a £4k hole in my pocket. I've had to start looking for another roofer, which is going to cost even more.

Michael and team did amongst other things a flat roof replacement and skylight, and it began leaking after around 9 months. They came out, patched the felt with some form of fibreglass paste and several months later the issue is recurring. This roof work is meant to be guaranteed for 15 years, mind you. We've been trying to contact them dor several months by phone and email, and our emails are being ignored, and our numbers either being blocked or calls ignored. We're looking at estimates for another firm to redo the work properly. If I could give a 0 star review, I would. I would strong advise against working with Michael and this company for roofing work based on my experience.

5 star service! After months of hassle trying to get someone out, these guys surpassed everyone! Emailed them Monday morning for quote/visit. They replied instantly and came out that afternoon. Went straight up on the roof with no fuss, took videos and pictures to support what they were telling us, gave a quote and left us to decide. We contacted them around lunch time Tuesday and asked them to go ahead. They agreed to come the next day. Just after 8.30am they were there as promised! The work was carried out to a very high standard and no mess was left. They updated me at stages with videos of the work being undertaken as myself and partner were both at work. Very reasonable price too, would genuinely recommend these to anyone….and actually already have given their number to a colleague. Thankyou for a very easy and pleasant experience.

The work undertaken was replacement of felt and relaying of tiles. Undertaken very quickly. 10 months later a leak or leaks developed which Michael said was due to the lead flashing which he had not replaced and which he claimed he had told me was a problem. He offered, at additional cost, to replace the flashing. Several weeks and several missed dates later - including failure to respond to phone and text messages - I asked another roofer to have a look. He identified problems with the flashing, exposed membrane, holes in the tiles and a botched job painting over the flashing with sealant. In short, a botched job cutting corners. I was originally satisfied with the service from Nottinghamshire Roofing, but the leak and the detailed review by another roofer leads me to conclude that speed and not quality was the driving criterion. If the lead flashing was so inadequate this should have been explained and additional cost estimated. That did not happen.

Michael was very prompt to respond to any contact, and the job was done quickly and efficiently at a very competitive price. I would highly recommend. Barbara
