Jack's Chimney Sweeping

Householders needing a sweep, a blocked flue sorted or a birds' nest cleared in Norwich describe Jack as dependable, personable and thoroughly professional, and it is the consistency of that experience that stands out. Several customers mention that he turns up when he says he will and that the room is left spotless once the work is done, with no soot or dust remaining.

Praise also recurs for the breadth of jobs he takes on: sweeping chimneys, fitting a replacement heat brick, removing a nest and installing a cowl, and cleaning render that had gone fifteen years without attention. An observation shared by more than one reviewer is the guidance offered on repairs or replacements, given without pressure and explained clearly, while reviewers repeatedly note that his charges compare favourably with what they have paid previously.

Communication is another common thread, from swift replies and next-day appointments when a nest had begun attracting flies, to a courteous manner that makes him easy to have around the home. Customers describe him as honest, obliging and efficient, with work finished promptly to a high standard, and many say they will keep calling on him for chimney work. Advice on future maintenance is valued as much as the sweeping itself.
