Smart Sweep

A very good job cleaning out the chimney via the wood burner by Nic. Very informative and a very friendly person. A good price also. I would highly recommend him to clean out your chimney. Thanks Nic.

Nic was really knowledgable, polite and honest. Swept my log burner flue , gave me advice on compliance and workings. I'd highly recommend Smart Sweep to anyone.

I booked Smart Sweep for a sweep and camera inspection. Nic was on time and got to work straight away. He is very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions and also make recommendations to keep your stove in good order. He left the place so spotless it was like he was never here. Highly recommend and have already booked my next sweep in. Thanks Nic amazing job ⭐️

Smart Sweep came round in early January to sweep the chimney. Nick was very professional, very efficient, he worked quickly and got the job done well. There was no mess. Indeed, after his attentions, the stove looked better than it has done for some years! Would I recommend him to other people. Yes, of course. Joshua Bamfield

After recently moving into our new home, we received a letter to say the installation of the wood burner the previous owners had installed may not have reached the safety regulations required. I contacted Nic from Smart Sweep straight away after reading his reviews and am now writing him another 5⭐️! Nic clearly has a passion for what he does professionally which comes across in his friendliness and delivery of what he finds with your sweep. He explained the steps in his sweep and check, the smoke test, CO2 check, visual check of the appliance and went through the sweep certificate making the recommendations for my wood burner in order to meet the safety criteria. Not only did he lay down sheeting from the front door to the wood burner to keep any mess from being trodden through, but cleaned out the wood burner leaving everything looking like new! I will definitely be booking in again for next year 😊

Nic is very knowledgeable, friendly, has great communication and is great value. He made the whole process very easy and was very helpful regarding some issues we have been having. This was our first time using Smart Sweep and we definitely will be again.

Had an issue so I contacted Ben as my usual sweep wasn't making contact. Arrived on time, initial inspection of the firebox and then started to bring in his equipment in. Sheeting applied to the area to be swept so excellent the whole area was protected. Swept the chimney but also cleaned the whole firebox and gave advice at the end on how to get the fire started and how to control the fire. Smoke test at the end to confirm all was good... 100% will be booking again in spring....thank you Ben 5star.
