Gavin arrived on time and safely removed the bird from my chimney and took it outside (it then flew off). He tidied up afterwards and had great customer service skills. Highly recommend
I had Gavin come out to inspect and sweep the chimney/flue in my period conversion flat in Acton and I was really impressed with the service. He was professional, friendly, punctual and took the time to properly explain everything to me without rushing. What I appreciated most was his honesty — he didn’t try to upsell unnecessary work or overcharge me, and was very open about which things I could easily do myself (such as fitting a chimney balloon later on if I wanted to). He carried out the sweep and CCTV inspection thoroughly, answered all my questions, and gave practical advice about the condition of the chimney and next steps. It’s genuinely refreshing to find someone knowledgeable and trustworthy, especially when dealing with older properties. I would definitely recommend Gavin and would happily use him again in the future.
