Across west London, Chimney Power Sweeping has built a following on the thoroughness and honesty of its chimney work. Customers repeatedly single out Gavin, describing him as knowledgeable and willing to talk through what he finds, whether that means sweeping a flue, fitting a cowl or cap on a stack, or removing a bird that has come down a chimney. Several accounts mention that he inspected a chimney, judged that a sweep was unnecessary and explained the reasoning rather than carrying out needless work, which left householders feeling they had been dealt with fairly on price.

Punctuality and speed come up often, including same-day or next-day appointments and an ability to accommodate short-notice bookings. Reviewers also value the tidiness of the job, noting that the working area was left clean and that little trace of the visit remained. The manner in which staff deal with people is a theme throughout, with Gavin and Lee both described as friendly, professional and patient in answering questions. Advice on maintenance and practical solutions to flue problems is frequently praised, and the service covers sweeping, inspections, cowl and cap installation and bird removal from chimneys.
