Chimney Clean Sweep

Chimney Clean Sweep is a chimney sweeping business operated by owner Jamie Roberts. It is HETAS approved, holds full liability insurance, and is registered as a lower tier waste carrier. The business serves all Sussex areas, including Brighton and Hove.

Sweeping is carried out using traditional methods and modern power sweeping with an industrial vacuum. A Certificate Of Chimney Sweep is issued on all satisfactory fires, flues, chimneys and stoves. Services comprise chimney sweeping, stove installation and servicing, and bird nest removal.

Brighton customers repeatedly praise Jamie, the sweep they name most often, for a service that combines thorough chimney cleaning with clear practical guidance. Several describe how he arrives when he says he will, works tidily and leaves the property as clean as he found it, with sheets and equipment used to contain soot and dust. The recurring theme is reliability: appointments are easy to arrange, reminders come through for annual visits, and the same standard applies whether he is sweeping a chimney or installing a wood burner.

Reviewers mention his knowledge of stove use, including advice on lighting a cold appliance and sourcing suitable logs, and note that he explains what he is doing without overcomplicating it. Quotes for installation work and sweeps are described as fair and noticeably competitive. A detail many reviews return to is his manner: polite, approachable and respectful of the home. Repeat custom is common, with some households booking him year after year for the same flue. The installation of log burners and the annual sweeping of chimneys and flues form the core of the work described.
