We made a great decision choosing Andy of Scottish Chimneys. We had him open out and rebuild our fireplace, and carry out a full installation of a multi-fuel insert stove, including chimney work. It transformed the room even before lighting it! Andy is professional, honest, personable, and careful around the house. He turned up when he said he would, and explained things well so we could make informed decisions. Excellent communication throughout and calm in dealing with unexpected snags. What's more, Andy provided competitive quotes and there were no surprises come invoice time.

Andy did a great job for us. He is knowledable and helped us through the process of picking the correct stove to installation. He built up our fireplace replacing the lintel and creating a slabbed area for the stove to sit on. He was up on the roof, sorted the chimneys and swept our other chimney. Professional thru n thru. He turned up on time and when he said he would. He got us £500 OFF the price of the stove I saw. Nice chap ....if you need a stove Andys the man! Thanks again Andy.

Other installers said it was impossible to fit chimney where I wanted the fire. Andy spent an hour measuring the rafters. He had a route without any bends his attitude to a problem was refreshingly positive. Fire was blazing before he left. I highly recommend the him and his work. John Mansfield
