JLR ROOFING

Extremely competent. They did a thoroughly professional job and dealt with any unforeseen issues as they came along. I have great confidence in the job they did and feel sure that the roof is now sorted for many years to come. As a bonus, the lads were lovely - very polite and tidy.

Excellent firm. They are very reliable and arrive when they say they will. They do a full days work and clean up after themselves. We had our roof replaced. It was particularly hot when they did the roof but that did not stop them. They gave an estimate of upto 2 weeks but actually took 1 week. The roof looks really good. All polite, courteous and friendly. Luke runs his team very well. I would highly recommend.

We cannot recommend Luke and his team highly enough. From our very first meeting, Luke gave us complete confidence that we were in the right hands. He was honest, knowledgeable, straightforward, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which made the whole process stress-free from the outset. Replacing all the roofs on our property was a major project, but Luke and his team tackled it with incredible professionalism and dedication. They worked tirelessly through torrential rain, strong winds, and even a heatwave, never compromising on the quality of their workmanship. Their work ethic was genuinely impressive. The finished result has exceeded our expectations. Every roof has been completed to an exceptional standard, the site was kept tidy throughout, and the entire project was finished on schedule. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and any questions or unexpected issues were dealt with quickly and efficiently. What really sets Luke apart is his communication. He kept us informed every step of the way, responded promptly to messages, and delivered exactly what he promised. That level of honesty, reliability, and customer service is rare to find these days. Choosing Luke and his team was one of the best decisions we made, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for skilled, trustworthy, and hardworking roofers. Five stars are thoroughly deserved!

Just had the roof done by JLR roofing and really happy with it. From the offset they provided a very detailed quote so I knew exactly what would be done. The team turned up when they said the would, were polite and friendly and cleared up after themselves at the end of each day. Luke was also extremely patient with my million and one questions and they all made the process completely stress free. Luke was also kind enough to recommend another tradie to undertake some additional work I need doing on the patio. Would 100% recommend 👌

A firm now led by the 3rd generation in his family of Roofers, Luke Redhead of JLR Roofing (York) employ up to date methods of assessing damage, give thorough explanations of work to be undergone, reinforced by detailed quotations. Thank you Luke, Max,Ben and Rowan and the rest of the JLR team. Especially, special thanks to Max and Rowan who worked tirelessly in all weather conditions to replace our roof completely. Always, on time, polite, friendly and courteous and very respectful of our property. They were both exceedingly tidy as they went about stripping the roof, replacing the felt and batons etc and then fitting the brand new tiles. This was attentive craftsmanship at its very best. I loved having them around listening to their friendly banter, cheer and I absolutely loved Rowan’s laugh, just hearing them both made my day as they worked very hard to get us 100% weather proof. I absolutely loved the finish on the edges of the tiles and the utmost care and attention to detail. Thank you Luke, both Max and Rowan are an absolute credit to you, both lads bringing cheer and warmth to the day. Thank you and best wishes Steven and Cheryl xx

Luke at JLR Roofing was prepared to discuss and quote various options for maintaining my 1936 roof. Once we agreed the scope, they carried out the work in a professional and timely manner. I now feel confident that my roof will protect me from the elements for years to come. I am happy to recommend JLR Roofing.
