Ablewight Chimney Services

Very easy to use service. Prompt arrival and very nice chimney sweep who was very helpful with any questions I had.

James our sweep arrived as promised and as usual swept our chimney and wood burner perfectly. James really knows his stuff and we look forward to seeing him again next year.

James is always a pleasure to welcome … he does a very efficient job without any fuss! Excellent!!

I apologise for the Saga I caused regarding the payment, Thank you for coming to collect the money I owed you. When the Chimney was cleaned, a bulk of plastic and foil paper are hanging down and I can't push it up as it keeps coming down again. Could you please send someone to keep this as it was before?ie: not showing a at plain site, looking terribly ugly, Thank you and I'll be happy to pay for it, Thank you for your understanding

Excellent work from James despite the 35 degree heat. Good pre appointment contact. Highly recommended

Absolutely fantastic service year after year. I've been with Ablewrights for a many years and couldn't recommend them more highly. I'm not surprised they have won awards year after year; they really are top... James is always prompt, professional, friendly and does a great job with absolutely no fuss or mess. He gives great honest advice when asked. This really is a great family company. At first I thought they were a franchise, because of the very professional web site and on line presence, but no they are a genuine small local family company that do a great job. Please support them with your custom as I really don't want them to go out of business. I get the impression they find it hard to grow as a company because whenever they train new sweeps they end up setting on their own... They were really kind over COVID times offering help to those that needed it... Every year when James arrives to sweep our chimney it feels like an old friend visiting...

The technician on the day was fantastic swept the flue and cleaned the stove which was looking amazing afterwards. It was our first sweep since owning our house so did not know what to expect but Nathan explained everything the process he was going to do and the parts he was replacing/ renewing. Lisa in the office was also very helpful and knowledgeable with the information and has helped with excellent service I have received from this company will be using yearly moving forward.
