Wilkins Chimney Sweep - Cambridge

Punctuality and thoroughness stand out as the qualities customers return to most often. Several reviewers describe Andy as arriving exactly when promised, setting up without fuss and leaving the fireplace area clean and tidy afterwards, with the certificate issued the same day. His knowledge of wood burners comes up repeatedly, and customers who have relied on him for years mention his professional manner and the clear communication before and after each appointment. Kindness matters too: one household recalls how patiently he answered a child's many questions.

Booking is described as quick and straightforward, and the annual reminder call in summer means chimneys are swept well before the fireplaces are lit again, which reviewers value. Fair, competitive pricing is noted alongside the efficiency of the work, and the wider team, including Max, receives credit for how smoothly the whole process runs. New fire rope fitted on request and no mess left behind are details that appear more than once. A recurring point is that appointments are booked up early because demand is high, so regular customers arrange their sweep well in advance. The name Andy is the one that recurs most in accounts of pleasant, personable service.
