SB Margan Roofing

SB Margan Roofing is a family-run roofing business founded in 2009 and based in Northfield (B31). The owner and sole trader, Sergiu Margan, has over 15 years of roofing experience and carries out all work personally, without subcontractors. The company holds full public liability insurance and provides written workmanship guarantees on all installations, along with manufacturer warranties on GRP, EPDM and other systems where applicable.

It serves Birmingham and the surrounding areas of the West Midlands and Worcestershire, and has completed over 500 roofs. Services include flat roofing, tiled and slated roofs, guttering and fascias, and chimney and leadwork, as well as emergency roof repairs across Birmingham. All waste is removed and the site is left clean on completion.

In Birmingham, SB Margan Roofing has built a strong reputation through the experiences shared by its customers. A theme running through many accounts is the knowledge and honesty of Sergiu, who is frequently named for explaining options clearly and providing itemised quotes without pressure. More than one customer describes how straightforward the process felt, from the initial visit through to completion, with photographs used to illustrate what needed doing. Reliability and punctuality come up repeatedly, as does the speed with which jobs are carried out, often with scaffolding and skips arranged as part of the agreed price.

Typical projects mentioned include full roof replacements, flat roofs over bays and extensions, chimney repointing and resetting chimney pots, along with the replacement of missing tiles, soffits, fascias and guttering. Reviewers often note the tidiness of the team, remarking that sites are left cleaner than before work began. The quality of the finished result is praised, as is the fair and competitive pricing quoted. Maintenance work and advice on further repairs also feature, with customers expressing trust in the workmanship and a willingness to book the firm again for future roofing needs.
