Sweep My Fire

Supply My Fire is a family-run chimney sweep and fireplace business based in Cardiff. It was founded in 2023 by Cormac Edwards, who began his journey in the fireplace industry in Cardiff at 26 years old and took over the family trade from his father. The business is run by Cormac alongside his son, Ieuan, and has over 40 years of combined experience.

Supply My Fire is a HETAS Approved Retailer and Gas Safe Certified, and is the primary dealer for Solution Fires, Vision Fires, Gazco & Stovax. It provides installation services in Cardiff, Newport, Swansea, Bristol & Bath. The company offers bespoke media walls, electric fires and stoves, fireplaces and mantels, wood burning stoves, and gas fires and stoves. It also offers free home surveys.

Cardiff customers who rely on open fires and wood burners repeatedly single out Ieuan, the sweep behind this service, as the reason they keep returning. His manner is described as friendly, helpful and polite, while contact before visits is handled promptly and arrivals are punctual. Tidiness comes up time and again, with flues cleared, stoves left spotless, glass polished and no residue anywhere in the room. Several accounts mention a camera inspection carried out as part of the work, the footage confirming that the chimney had been checked thoroughly throughout its length.

Pricing is called fair and reasonable without prompting, and advice for future maintenance is valued, including one visit where unexpected complications arose and extra attention was given to a fireplace. A winter emergency following a boiler breakdown is described, when an appointment was arranged at short notice and heat restored. Thoroughness, discretion and a willingness to return for follow-up work complete the recurring themes, alongside the quality of the sweeping and the careful treatment of each flue.
