Surefire Chimney Sweep

I would highly recommend Howard. He is highly professional, honest and goes above and beyond to help. I initially contacted him in a slight panic; I knew only that 'something' had broken and a bird had gotten in. He was so patient, directing me on how to take pictures to help identify the part needed and spending time doing a lot of research to find the right one. When I decided to get my log burner removed - something I'd been considering for a while - Howard talked me through everything. I was happy with the price quoted and thought it was very fair. He did such a great job and was very thorough, making sure to finish everything off nicely - the wall looks great and I'm so happy with the work. Afterwards he left everything really clean and tidy. One thing I really appreciated was his communication - he let me know in advance when he could come and stuck to it, keeping in touch with me so I knew when to expect him. I never had to chase him up once. He's also so easy to speak to and friendly. Our 3 year old is very sensitive to noise and Howard was so good with him - chatting away to him kindly, and warning us when it was going to get loud. I think when someone's in your home doing work, it makes a big difference when someone is so polite and Howard was a pleasure to have around.

The service provided was truly exceptional. Howard demonstrated brilliance from his prompt arrival to his meticulous attention to detail in preparing for the cleaning, executing the actual cleaning, and tidying up afterwards. I was particularly impressed when issues arose with the log burner itself; Howard dedicated time to research a solution and then returned on another day to resolve the problem. I am genuinely delighted to have discovered such a diligent and passionate professional who clearly takes immense pride in his work. The communication was excellent, and I am extremely satisfied with the outcome. I would wholeheartedly recommend Howard for anyone in need of such services. Howard, you are brilliant, and I extend my sincere thanks. 🙏

Very recently we had a log burner installed by Surefire chimneys. If I could give more than a 5 star I really would. Howard was professional from start to finish. He always showed up on time and his attention to detail is second to none. On top of that he kept us in the loop at every stage of the process making the whole install as smooth as possible. Big thank you to Howard and Ged. We are so happy with our log burner and would highly recommend Surefire chimneys to anyone.

Howard proved 100 per cent trustworthy and professional sweeping our open fire chimney. We thought we had a birds' nest in the external pot but Howard's camera showed not the case on the connected laptop. No mess and a fee of £80 was very fair for an hour's specialist job. Friendly bloke too!

Absolutely made up with this. After dealing with so many tradesmen that mess you about, Howard’s professional service was a breath of fresh air.
