Soots You

Soots You is a chimney sweeping business owned by Robert, who has more than 20 years of experience in chimney sweeping, flue fitting, and wood burning stove installation. Robert is a Master Chimney Technician and serves as secretary of the Northern Ireland Association of Chimney Sweeps. The business is OFTEC approved and qualified to carry out oil boiler servicing and maintenance, and is fully insured for fireplace and chimney services.

Services meet British Standard BS6461. Soots You serves homes throughout Belfast, Northern Ireland, and surrounding areas. Services include chimney sweeping, fireplace and flue installation, chimney inspections, chimney stack pointing and repair, wood or multi-fuel stove installation, smoke tests, flue relining, chimney pot replacement, CCTV inspections, clay liner removal, reaming, descaling, bird's nest removal, chimney caps, cowls and cages, oil boiler service, repair and replacement, and solid fuel fire service and repair.

Households across Belfast with multi-fuel stoves, log burners and flues recur throughout accounts of Soots You, where Robert is named as the sweep who attends. Several reviewers describe a quick, clean and efficient service, with the room left tidy and heavy build-up cleared from under-serviced chimneys. Reliability is a recurring theme, including pre-booked appointments kept exactly as arranged. The sweep is frequently praised for explaining each stage of the work, from preventing chimney fires to advising on future upgrades such as a new stove.

Friendliness and knowledge come up often, with Robert described as approachable and willing to answer questions, and one account notes that a young son was allowed to watch the process. Fitting fireplaces and sorting out multi-fuel stoves are also reported, alongside prices seen as reasonable and good value. Long-standing customers return for repeat sweeps, and trust in the chimney work is expressed strongly across the accounts. Stove fitting, fireplace installation and sweeping remain the tasks most often described by those who have used the service.
