Soot & Bristle - Yorkshire Chimney Sweep

Highly recommend Ollie. He came to sweep log burner chimney between Christmas and New Year. Super friendly and polite, even checked I was happy for him to come in as had a cold, which was very thoughtful! So clean and tidy. Did a fab job and gave good advice.

Cannot recommend Ollie enough, what was intended to be a fairly straightforward job turned out to be a bit of a nightmare as previous owners seemed to have not kept on top of maintenance on my unlined log burner but continued to use it. Ollie did not rush the job, even though it probably took 3x as long as it normally would have, and continued to reassure me that it could be sorted. He gave me some excellent advice and I've now been able to use it without any issues. Thank you!

Ollie from Soot & Bristle did a great job sweeping the chimney for our log burner. He was responsive to my questions during booking, has been polite and very helpful throughout. Ollie was respectful of the house and kept everything clean. I'd highly recommend him and will definitely book with him again next year.

Ollie has swept my chimney today - no easy task after the chimney stack was rebuilt. He is so polite & respectful, and spent a long time ensuring all left clean & tidy. He responded quickly to my request and came 3 days later! Thoroughly recommend.

Ollie was professional, friendly, trustworthy and very tidy. Great job done today replacing damaged firebricks and cleaning out/ sweeping our log burner. Would highly recommend. Thanks for doing a great job.

Highly recommended! Ollie, did such a fabulous job! Very professional and knowledgeable. I've had a couple of issues with air flow/smoke and Ollie gave me some very helpful advice/tips on how to resolve this issue, which have just been tried and tested! I am very impressed with the results. Also I needed new fire bricks but I had no idea on what size to order. Ollie emailed all the information needed and I have now been able to order the correct size for my Log burner. Thank you so much for going above and beyond. Excellent customer service! See you next Year! Kate.

Ollie swept our living room chimney feeding off from a log burner. His professional opinion upon arrival was this hadn't been done by the previous occupants for a good 4/5+ years! No issues for Ollie though as he resolved this, no problems. No wait time for the appointment, Ollie was tidy and respectful, good value for money, and did a timely and professional job. Ollie is very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend him. Thanks again! (P.S. I can also recommend Ollie's other business Yorkshire Balloon Flights - we had a wonderful flight experience with him as our pilot!)
