SM Chimney Sweep

Pleasure to deal with these guys from start to finish. Fantastic work, really made sure we were happy with every step, and choice made. Thoroughly explained everything, and really went the extra mile to ensure things were as we wanted. When they discovered how much additional work was required to make the fireplace suitable, they just cracked on and really made us feel confident in their work. Lovely pair of lads, and already have the date saved for our chimney to be swept and stove checked next year!

Can’t speak highly enough of Steven, Alec (Alex) and Mike. We have an open fire and had reached a point where a liner was required to keep it working. We contacted a few local firms and Steven was the only one who said he would come and advise. He was excellent, very knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to deal with. Needless to say we will be booking Steven to return in the spring to sweep both our open fire and our log burner. 10/10.

My partner used Steve to unblock his chimney. Excellent service- good at problem solving. The house is 100+ years old and I don’t know when it was last swept. It took several visits but Steve stuck it out and everything was a success. Very professional and provides an excellent service. 10/10!!

Excellent!, Attention to detail & Very Clean! Steve, came to provide us with a quote many months ago, we decided to go with him, as there was no sales pressure and the same figure quoted stood, which was extremely good value, considering the changes we requested last minute. Steve was able to accommodate us in everything we requested, such us deciding on new Hearth style last minute, or a darker beam than originally requested. The workmanship is second to non, extremely detailed and everything was explained in detail , making sure that we were happy throughout the journey. Nevertheless, the amazing factor at the end was that I walked into an almost dust free, clean room! We have now asked Steve for a second log burner in the dinning room. Amazing is an understatement! We cannot thank Steve enough for his workmanship, we have uploaded a few pictures of the amazing work!

All the work that Steven did for us was so good that we kept going back to him with new jobs during our house renovation! He swept all our chimneys, he opened up a couple of chimney breasts, he cleaned up some feature exposed bricks, he helped us handpick the stone from our garden for the hearth and he installed our wood burner. He was clean, tidy, organised and considerate and we'll look forward to getting him back next year to sweep our chimney again!! Thanks Steven from Anna and Jake.
