Leicester Chimney & Stove Services

Leicester Chimney & Stove Services is a chimney sweeping business owned by Chris, a fully trained chimney sweep. It has been in business for 11 years and is based in Knighton village, Leicester, serving Leicester City and Leicestershire. The company offers chimney sweeps for coal fires, multi fuel stoves, and log burners, providing both manual and powered chimney sweeps. It fits bird guards and chimney liners and services log burners.

A 'Sweep and Service' package includes a full service on multi fuel or log burning stoves, internal clean, glass cleaning, and external polish. The business installs flue liners and bird guards, performs chimney tests to determine safety and need for flue liner, and offers stove repairs including custom replacement of stove glass, fire bricks, fire cement, and door ropes.

Professional care from the first enquiry through to the finished job is the theme running through feedback on this Leicester chimney specialist, with Chris named time and again as the tradesman who attends. Sweeping and inspection testing are the services customers describe, and the work is consistently characterised as thorough and neat, leaving the fireplace area free of soot and debris once the visit is complete. Punctuality is mentioned repeatedly, including appointments arranged at short notice when an inspection was required alongside the sweep.

Several customers describe the price as transparent, with the cost made clear before any work begins, and getting in touch is reported to be straightforward. Advice on chimney and stove matters is another point that comes up often, with helpful guidance offered during the visit, while the friendly manner shown throughout is remarked upon by those who have used the service. What stands out across the accounts is the combination of a clean, professional sweep, honest communication about cost, and the approachable way Chris deals with customers on each visit.
