Really happy with the work done by Great Western Roofing. We had an ongoing leak affecting the top floor and loft, and after getting a few quotes, we decided to go with them. From the start, they were straightforward, explained things clearly, properly checked the roof by going up there, and didn’t try to push unnecessary work. They stripped back the affected area and fixed everything properly rather than just patching it. You can tell they knew what they were doing. They also kept the place tidy and worked efficiently. Not only the flat owners in the building were impressed with these guys, but also people around the area which asked for their contact as well. Communication was good throughout, they shared multiple photos -before/during/after (including descriptions which makes it a lot easier to understand) and they did what they said they would do. The job was completed on time, no disruptions to the owners and tenants and everything looks solid now. Overall, very reliable and easy to deal with — would definitely recommend if you want the job done at high standards and no headaches.

I've had great interaction with Great Western Roofing over the past few years. Storm damage and a broken Velux initially a few years ago. Replacement soffits and gutters were handled really well by the guys last year. Tony and his team are excellent, I cannot recommend them enough. My house is over 100 years old so its important the correct materials are used on it and Tony knew what should be done and how; they repaired my guttering, skew and chimneys. My two neighbours have also used GWR too and we are all happy with their work. GWR is a company that actually cares about its customers.

Faced with a near thousand pound bill to repair a joint in our gutter, using scaffolding, Tony at Great Western Roofing responded immediately to our enquiry and attended the site, tested his own ladder for access and returned a few days later with a longer ladder and carried out the repair at much less cost then the original quote from another organisation. At all times Great Western Roofing staff have behaved in the most pleasant, helpful and professional manner and I have no hesitation in recommending the company to anyone.

We can not praise Tony and his team enough for the work they did for us on the roof. Honesty and professionalism at its best. Always kept us up to date with the progress with pictures and txts daily. They worked hard at getting the job done to a very high standard. Great Western Roofing were not only chosen for their quote but, as someone said before, you just know when you have a good honest reliable professional letting you know the honest facts. Had Tony out to fix some major issues with my chimney and flashing. I was working away at the time when he initially quoted the work and after a few roofers telling my wife that we needed a whole new roof I was given Tony’s number by a friend. He sent me over a detailed report with pictures of all the potential issues with the roof. He then followed up with a quote. The work was quoted at a great price and done to a great standard with before and after pictures of all work that was carried out. They even brushed the driveway on completion. Would highly recommend this company and will definitely be using them again in the future.
