ASAP Roofing & Building

ASAP Roofing & Building is a family-run roofing and building contractor based in Glasgow's West End. The company specialises in traditional slate roofing and stone masonry repairs for 19th and 20th century sandstone tenements and townhouses. Its service area includes Glasgow's West End, greater Glasgow, and the West of Scotland. Works are carried out in accordance with recognised UK construction regulations and SSIP health & safety standards, with management procedures aligned to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. The company holds £10 million public liability insurance.

It provides slate roof repairs, new roof installations, roof inspections, chimney repairs, leadwork, gutter maintenance, and masonry services. Clients include surveyors, property managers, estate and letting agents, homeowners, businesses, and public sector organisations. Safe access methods used include MEWP cherry pickers, scaffold access, and drone technology for roof inspections.

Specialist roof repairs, masonry work and property upkeep recur throughout the feedback for this Glasgow firm. Reviewers describe work on an older slate roof, pointing, tile replacement, moss removal, gutter fixes, mastic renewal, balcony repair and a downpipe job at height on a fourth-floor flat, with access arranged and scaffolding brought in. A recurring theme is the diagnostic approach: several customers mention being shown photographs and video footage of the damage before any work began, which they found reassuring and which demonstrated the extent of the task was not overstated.

Cameron, also referred to as Cammy, is named repeatedly for his friendly manner and for explaining problems in plain language while keeping clients informed as the job progressed, including flagging additional costs before carrying them out. Punctuality stands out, with one repair attended within twenty-four hours of first contact. Reviewers repeatedly note prompt and competitive quotes, sites cleared once finished, and a willingness to recommend other trades such as plumbers and carpenters. Chimney services and general building maintenance feature as the work undertaken, with yearly roof upkeep also mentioned.
