I was so impressed with the team at DJ Mackay. They did a fantastic job of replacing a leaking fibreglass roof with a EPDM roof. The team worked so hard in the extreme heat to get the job finished. A huge thank you to Lauren and Josh who are both wonderful, polite, friendly, reliable and very knowledgable. They respected my property and left the outside cleaner than when they arrived. It is so good to find a roofing company that does an amazing job.Very highly recommended.
I honestly can't recommend these guys highly enough, a pleasure to have around, incredibly polite and professional and absolute troopers despite working during a record breaking heat wave. Also their office was really communicative and easy to work with. A neighbour booked another firm who swore like drunk sailors all day so i was a bit wary before they arrived but any doubts disappeared on day one. I'm so glad i booked DJ Mackay & sons and will definitely recommend them.

I contacted DJ Mackay, they responded quickly. I explained the roofing verge replacements that I felt were necessary, and they visited, viewed the property and confirmed a workplan. Scaffolding was erected, and works were then completed within a couple of days. Scaffolding was removed a few days later. I think the works were performed to the high standards outlined by DJM, and the works certainly look professional. Crucially, communications were exceptionally well handled by Lauren, and we will certainly be contacting her next time we need repairs. Great job. Very well pleased.
We were having troubles with our chimney stack and roof leaking which was causing us interior issues. After numerous quotes from cowboy builders who were quoting off the top of their heads, we came across D J Mackay & Son Roofing and read through some of the stellar reviews they already had. My wife spoke to Josh who attended our home and provided photos and an itemized quote for exactly what needed doing. They were extremely patient with us as we needed to agree terms with our next door neighbour. When the work began the team were very professional, efficient and tidy, we had no issues and they had great communication with my wife to keep her informed how work was progressing. Josh and his gang have just finished replacing the roof to our house and releading the chimney. We found JD Mackay to be a very good company. Communication was good throughout the process and the quality of the work is first class. They worked hard in difficult conditions with the high temperatures. We would definitely use them again should we need to in the future.
