Clean sweeps

Clean sweeps is a chimney sweeping business serving Arden and surrounding areas. The owner has worked in the solid fuels industry for 10 years and has been sweeping chimneys for two years. The owner has completed accreditation to The National Association of Chimney Sweeps. Public liability insurance is held up to £2 million. Services include traditional chimney sweeping, power sweeping, and chimney inspection.

The business sweeps open fires, wood burning stoves, Jetmasters, Rayburns, Agas, and biomass boilers. All sweeping certificates and reports can be sent digitally. Payment is accepted by all card payments or transfers. After booking, customers receive a booking confirmation email with a 2-hour arrival window. A text message with the exact time of arrival is sent when the sweep is on the way.

Householders with wood burners and multi fuel stoves in Coventry regularly describe the service provided by Clean sweeps, and the accounts share a common thread: the work is carried out by Jake, who is named in nearly every piece of feedback. A number of customers describe him as friendly, polite and professional, arriving when he said he would and communicating beforehand so that expectations around timing are clear.

Punctuality is a recurring theme, with reviewers noting that they were told when to expect him and that he kept to that arrangement, even when fitting in an earlier visit. The standard of cleaning itself attracts repeated praise, particularly for flues and chimneys, with one householder observing that a log burner drew far more easily afterwards and another remarking on the improved heat from a stove once sweeping was complete.

Tidiness comes up often, as customers describe the surrounding area being left neat, with no mess remaining. Reviewers also value the advice offered on maintaining wood burners and the explanation of chimney types and their advantages, alongside the efficiency of the visit. Jobs have included sweeping four chimneys at one property and removing birds from a flue. The service is described as good value, and many indicate they will book again each year for inspection and cleaning.
