Birmingham Chimney Company

Birmingham Chimney Company is a chimney sweep business newly formed by James Price. James Price has been involved in the chimney industry for over twenty years. The company is NVQ qualified and has 25 years experience. It serves Birmingham, UK, including Moseley, Stirchley, Kings Heath, Hall Green, Bournville, Longbridge, Northfield, Balsall Heath, Edgbaston, Cotteridge and Selly Oak. The company offers chimney sweeping and stove servicing, CCTV inspections and drone roof inspections. It works with landlords and property management companies.

Throughout Moseley and the wider Birmingham area, this chimney sweeping specialist is consistently praised for the care taken over every visit. A handful of customers describe James as knowledgeable, friendly and professional, arriving when promised and explaining his findings as he works. His guidance on running wood burners and log burners efficiently is a recurring theme, covering points such as leaving vents open and arranging the next sweep once the fire season has ended. Reviewers often mention clear pricing that they regard as fair for a chimney sweep, with no mess left behind and certificates supplied.

A detail many reviews return to is the thorough inspection, using a camera to examine the flue along its length and assess its condition, followed by practical advice for extending its working life. When a flue difficulty or a heavy accumulation of debris beside a stove flue occurs, the matter is said to be resolved promptly, and on one occasion a return visit was made without charge. Firebricks fitted during a sweep also feature in the accounts. Customers report booking their next appointment and recommending the service to friends and family.
