Alfred Poppins Stoves

Just had our chimney swept by Alfie, he did a really nice job. He was on time, charged a reasonable price and left everything clean. He also gave me lots of helpful tips on how to get the best out of my log burner, replaced a frayed door seal, and will be replacing our cracked chimney pot next year. Thank you 😊

From my initial enquiry to installation - Wayne was helpful, prompt and professional. I would have no hesitation in recommending Alfred Poppins if you are considering a Log Burner.

Alfie came to clean the chimney of our wood burner. Did a great job, very clean and professional. Gave good advice regarding running the burner. Will be using him from now on.

We have a WoodWarm Stove & Alfred Poppins is an authorised dealer, so we thought we'd ask Alfie to sweep the chimney and do a safety check on the installation of our Stove for us. We're normally out of Alfie's area but we were lucky to find a quiet spot in his busy schedule and secure his services. We can't recommend Alfie too highly, he arrived on time and from the outset gave every confidence in his workmanship. Alfie gave the chimney a through sweep and at our request a camera inspection to see if there were any issues. Alfie talked us through the inspection, from top to bottom, again giving every confidence in his service and workmanship. We will certainly try to book Alfie again. He's the best we've had. He's Quick, Clean & Tidy, Fast & Efficient We couldn't have wished for more. Thank you very much Alfie.

This company were amazing from start to finish. They were so helpful and professional. The advice I have been given was spot on. I’ve been renovating my house and I’ve had a lot of trades, companies in, Alfred Poppins has been one of the best and I recommend them to everyone. I’m about to use them again for another stove and I know they will do a high standard job. Well done Wayne and your team, you really are amazing. I highly recommend.

Alfie arrived, extremely personable guy. Clearly very knowledgeable on his products and carried out an excellent service/sweep of our chimneys; very efficient and respectful, keeping the entire area extremely clean. Superb job, thank you !
