What customers say

Based on genuine customer reviews

In Oxford and the surrounding villages, The Wright Sweep has built a reputation through chimney sweeping and stove servicing carried out by Aaron, whose name appears in the majority of accounts. A handful of customers describe him as professional, personable and generous with advice, particularly on log burner use, maintenance and the right wood to burn. Reviewers repeatedly mention punctuality and speed of response, with enquiries answered quickly and appointments rearranged when necessary.

The thoroughness of the work is a point that comes up often: flues swept, stoves cleaned, surrounds and grates refreshed and cracks filled, leaving fireplaces looking as good as new. Tidiness is praised just as consistently, with floors and rooms left spotless and no mess to clear afterwards. One account describes the rescue of a pigeon trapped in a chimney and the fitting of a cowl. Difficult, blocked chimneys that others had failed to clear were dealt with calmly. Chimney sweeping, stove servicing and general fireplace maintenance are the services customers return for year after year.

Aaron was totally professional and very informative regarding log burner use and how to look after it. Left my house cleaner than when he arrived. I would definitely recommend him for all your chimney, fire and log burner cleaning and any problems you may have

Can't recommend Aaron highly enough. Expertly swept the chimney and replaced the fire bricks. No mess, no fuss and even cleaned the stove back to brand new. 100% recommendation.
