Stovely Chimney Sweep & Stove Servicing

Thank you to Thomas for a friendly, clean and efficient sweep of a very old open fire flue - we enjoyed seeing his picture of the brush sticking out of the cottage chimney! Would warmly recommend Stovely as a business.

10/10 would recommend this company. The booking process was incredibly smooth and Edith was prompt with her responses and very knowledgeable when I wasn’t sure what was needed. Thomas was kind, friendly and polite. The job was done quickly and cleanly and we are very happy with the service.

Good service. Thomas was friendly, very efficient, no mess. He gave good advice re spares. Booking and paying was timely and easy.

Excellent service and very reasonable price. Definitely recommend Thomas to anyone who needs the reassurance that their log burner is safe

Efficient organisation of the visit, and an excellent service. I’ve tried several chimney sweeps in Oxford for our woodburner and Thomas was the first to really take the time to clean it properly. I will definitely be using him every year from now on.

Thomas was excellent. I had a problem with a brand new Charnwood Arc 5 which had been spewing out thick acrid black smoke. The installer was also excellent and had suggested that because it had been left on coal instead of wood settings that was probably the reason. Thomas was prompt, very clean, informative and helpful

Getting the chimney swept and the stove serviced is one of those house admin jobs that nobody particularly enjoys. Stovely make it nearly a pleasure: they turn up on time, have excellent admin, and are quick, efficient and honest - we got told that we our chimney didn't particularly need an annual sweep, every other year would be fine. We also received excellent advice about a damaged fire brick, and how to identify the model of our very old stove. Thoroughly recommend!
