Alastair and his team (David and Jayden) did an excellent job of installing our new stove; they were friendly, courteous and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend The Chimney Sweeper!
We can’t thank Alistair enough. My elderly mother is very emotionally attached to her old solid fuel stove. Several other chimney sweeps had looked at it and told us it was obsolete and that they couldn’t help because the job was too complex. Alistair took the time to understand how the stove worked and completed a very challenging job. He kept us updated with his progress throughout, and his communication was excellent from start to finish. Throughout the visit, he treated my mum with kindness, patience and respect, which meant a great deal to us. He and his colleague were punctual, highly professional, clean and respectful of my mum’s home, and explained everything thoroughly once the work was finished. The cost was also extremely reasonable. Alistair is an honest, knowledgeable and genuinely decent person. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable chimney sweep, especially if they have an older or more unusual stove.
Alastair swept our chimney, fitted a flu liner and installed our woodburner for us about a month ago, his service was excellent from initial contact to job completion. He is very diligent, left no mess, and filled us with confidence. Our HETAS certificate arrived promptly. I will be using him again and would definitely recommend The Chimney Sweeper ltd to others.
Prompt, friendly and informative service. Chimney swept with no mess afterwards. Very satisfied.
Communications excellent when booking and confirming with Beth. Jaydin arrived at the arranged time, laid out protection on carpets/stove etc and proceeded to complete the job in a clean and tidy way. Would definitely use again.
They had a packed calendar but were quick to accommodate. Arrived on time and very professional. Definitely recommend them.
Great service!! Quick, clean and felt the price was fair! Would only go back to them! Finally can have our fire on now!!
