Slater's Sweeps and Stoves

Very pleased with the recent installation of our hobbit stove. Clear estimate, all options were explained beforehand and quote was adjusted when came in slightly under budget. Fireplace was partially knocked out and the work was done professionally and living room left spotless, would definitely recommend.

We were very pleased with the work that Robert and Kyle did to change our gas fire out and replace it with a wood burner. This involved removing brickwork which they undertook with very little mess. They are friendly and professional and I would recommend them to everyone.

Rob and Kyle installed a wood burner in place of an open fireplace. Friendly, knowledgeable and professional, they provided great advice on how to get the best installation. The quote was accurate and the overall installation is first class. I was particularly impressed with their communication - Rob would take the time to brief us before each phase of the job, offering us various options and carrying out any requests effortlessly. I would have absolutely no reservations about using Slaters in future.

100% I’d have Rob back. After being messed about by two other local companies, Rob was a breath of fresh air. He came out promptly, provided a clear quote for the stove and installation, and—most importantly—did exactly what he said he would. For extra excitement (and stress), I decided it was a great idea to have a brand-new, light-coloured carpet fitted just two days before the stove install. Somehow, Rob managed the installation flawlessly without leaving so much as a mark. A true professional from start to finish. Arte et Marte.

We appointed Rob after he was recommended on Facebook and we are so glad that we did! From the initial site visit through to the completion of the full installation, Rob was a pleasure to deal with and his craftsmanship is top drawer. He went above and beyond to get us up and running ahead of schedule so we can burn over Christmas. Amazing! Will wholeheartedly recommend to anyone considering anything burner related.

We are absolutely thrilled with our new log burner and outstanding service provided by Robert and the installation team. The installation was carried out with the utmost professionalism, the process seamless and incredibly tidy. The work itself was completed efficiently and to a very high standard exceeding our expectations for both quality and finish. Robert provided detailed use and aftercare instructions explaining how to operate the burner safely and ensured we were completely confident before he left. Exceptional service from start to finish. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough for anyone considering a log burner installation.

Rob and his team are friendly, professional & very reliable. Took great care of our house whilst the work was underway & explained each step of the process. An absolute pleasure to have them installing a new wood burner. I throughly recommend them.
