Highly recommend Ian from Tawe Sweep. Ian has been servicing my log burner for three years, including repairing my chimney and flue. Ian is incredibly professional, reliable and I have great confidence in his work and the service he provides. He sends a reminder message each year to ensure it is easy to continue maintenance and safety.
Ian came today to sweep the chimney for my little multi fuel stove. I had been very worried that it might not come up to modern standards because it's more than 40 years old and it hadn't been lit for about 10 years but Ian (unfazed) gave it a thorough examination, removed a huge quantity of birds nest material from the chimney, fitted new sealing rope round the door, tested my carbon monoxide alarms and provided a very reassuring safety certificate. He was friendly and hugely knowledgeable, he gave me useful advice about my elderly solid fuel Rayburn range for which he provided contact details for maintenance work. He worked very efficiently throughout and left everything lovely and clean. It's hard to put a price on peace of mind and I think Ian's charges were very fair. I highly recommend.
Highly recommended. Ian is a great guy and very friendly. Will definitely use his services again.
Very highly recommened. Fitted me in just before christmas. Arrived early and was super professional. He also sorted some extra work needed on the stove and gave me some advise as I am new to the multi stove world! I shall be booking next year for sure!

Professional/ friendly service. First sweep carried out since install of our burner. I expected this to be a messy job but our living room was exactly as it was prior. Happy to offer advice on any questions I had. 100% recommend.
We had our chimney swept by Ian who fitted us in with fairly short notice! Arrived dead on time and completed our sweep in no time. No fuss and no mess! A lovely chap and an absolutely brilliant service and also repaired our firebrick. Would highly recommend using Ian for your chimney sweep!
