Stove polishing and routine chimney maintenance in and around Manchester provide the bulk of the workload for Smoky Sweeps, and the person customers single out is Jarrod. Accounts frequently praise his courteous, pleasant and professional approach, while something that features in review after review is his reliability, arriving at the agreed time and getting straight down to the task. Cleanliness draws steady approval, with householders noting that soot and debris are cleared away and appliances left spotless and ready for use.

The advice given on site is valued just as much, particularly on operating a wood burner economically and maintaining a stove between visits. What customers pay is described as fair for work they consider careful and swift. One customer recalls unblocking a flue where rods had become stuck, identifying split lining and an unsuitable cowl as the cause and explaining the fault plainly. Repeat appointments, an annual reminder service and requests for stove cleaning and chimney upkeep indicate the trust the work generates, with the methodical, well-explained attention to each appliance standing out.
