Steve hugely kindly offered more than half an hour of his time pro bono to give me advice on a roof that had been poorly constructed. Great roof survey for my insurance company. Also sent a video of his findings. Caught many things next door was doing in their loft extension that would cause me problems later. So happy. Would recommend no one else.

I helped my son sort out his leaking flat roof in Stoke Newington,North London. When I started I did not realise how many issues there can be with flat roofs. Before doing anything I would recommend asking Steve for a link to his YouTube channel. I watched all his videos and got a good understanding of the difference between warm and cold roofs and the potential complications with each. Other roofing companies had recommended replacing the roof with fibreglass or asphalt the former being quoted at £30,000. Steve did a very detailed survey and recommended just replacing the skylights and lead flashing around the perimeter of the roof. Jason and his colleague did a really good job at a third of the cost. Interestingly Steve did not recommend fibreglass. We are very grateful for the quality of his work and his professional approach and I would highly recommend him.

I just want to thank Steven for taking the time to listen to the problems I am having with my 12 year old flat roof. He was very helpful via email and a video response, I am now 100% clear what steps I need to take going forward to rectify the problem. I have promised to keep Steven updated on my progress.

I used Stevens services to carry out a roof survey for a flat roof I was purchasing and couldn't recommend him more highly. I'd been let down by another company and he was able to fit my survey in the next day. At all times he was clear, communicative and efficient - delivered the thorough and clear report exactly when he said he would. I called him after to discuss the report (as a first time buyer, there was lots that was new to me!) and he answered all my questions kindly and clearly, going above and beyond (very different to what I have experienced with other contractors). Steven's videos are very good really clear explanations and the theory as to why some things work and others don't. He took time to provide comments on a tricky roof build and provide links to materials I didnt know about that helped the build meet Building control. I found Steven to be very knowledgeable and highly professional.

I have had to wait to leave a review for the service provided as part of action being pursued against a "Roofer" who's shoddy work and practices left my home with damage that had to be rectified by another professional company. Firstly, which I would recommend to anyone that can is pay by Credit Card if the trademan accepts that payment method. Due to financial regulations there are added protections and processes that can be applied in the eventuality things go wrong. In my case as part of the process my card issuing bank instructed me to obtain an independent roofing survey report to provide them with evidence on the extent of defects and incomplete work by the company who received payment. Having sought out this service on Trusted Trader I booked in the service provided for roof surveys. Unfortunately I was not here when Steven conducted the survey, however my husband who was, was very impressed by Stephen's professionalism. A drone camera was used by Stephen to take images that went in the report. Stephen also went into the void spaces and produced an extensive report that distinctly displayed the report with the associated image and listed defect information. The report also provided recommended remediation. I would very much recommend this service from London Roof Surveys. Without the report generated I would not have been successful in obtaining my money back in relation to the roofing service I had originally received.
