SCAMMER!!! Be aware of this cowboy scammer, DO NOT hire him unless you want to receive a job done incorrectly leaving you with even more water damage. We didn’t receive our guarantee and we were left with water still leaking through our flat roof into our bay window in the bedroom. Still to this day even though we have been chasing for 8+ months. He now keeps reading and ignoring all messages. Make sure you do your research on companies house. JB Flat Roofing IS NOT a LTD company and doesn’t exist on there. Jake Binks who “owns” JB Flat Roofing has also been known for B&B Membrane Solutions LTD which surprise surprise, bad reviews. He’s also been in the Echo for dodging tax so he’s in THOUSANDS pounds worth of dept. Our solicitors have made us aware that Jake Binks has £8,000 outstanding court judgements from multiple previous clients. Please please please, before you consider hiring him make sure to do in-depth research.

Firstly i got JBs number off his van when i seen it a few weeks back and just had it in my phone. Didnt know him beforehand. I had to call JB in the week after a section of my roof had been damaged by wind but the home emergency roofers couldnt attend untill the next day. After explaining the situation he said he could come within 30mins as was in the area. He would asses and quote but there would be no charge for the call out to assess. I got home within the hour and he was still outside. He told me he had been on the roof to asses and had put the felt which had blown off back in place but it was not fixed. He gave me 2 quotes to fix or replace but also told me that the emergency home insurance should fix which wouldnt cost. He gave me some good advice to try and sort it myself aswell. I offerd him some cash for the inconvience of coming out to look but he wouldnt take it. Both lads seemed very genuine and great customer service. I was very impressed with the speed of them coming out after my initial call.

Really happy. Contacted Jake for a quote, they came out on the same day and gave a fair quote for the work there and then - no chasing for quotes or waiting around. They returned the very next day to fit the roof for us which we really appreciated as our extension was not yet watertight and we were forecast rain so I was stressing. They worked flat out for ten hours to get the job done in one day and it looks brilliant, neat and tidy, really professional job. Thank you! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Jake had excellent communication and did a great job replacing and insulating a flat roof for us - recommend - would use again!
