The receptionist who answered the phone was helpful. I received a reminder the day before & a message when the sweep was on the way. Rhiannon swept our chimney. She seemed to do a good job & offered advice when asked. She cleaned up well afterwards.

I was looking for someone to help reseal my flue and was recommended this company but the lady on the phone was so rude and said they wouldn't help me. Customer services have a lot of work required! No need to be rude totally uncalled for.

Excellent service: professional, friendly and thorough. Rhiannon removed a large amount of accumulated soot from the chimney and left the surrounding area cleaner than it was when she arrived.

Mick and his team have just spent 10 days fitting a new roof on our extension. An Amazing job by very skilled craftsmen. Would highly recommend them. Thanks for such a great job!

Firstly I would like to say that I never leave bad reviews so to be writing this means I'm highly disappointed with A S Chimneys. Corrine is always rude & patronising on the phone. She talks to people like they are below her. Also, saying that it is okay to cap a chimney when there are swallows nesting in it is completely unacceptable. Really need to sort customer service & attitude out.

A.S. chimneys cleaned our two large multi fuel burners in Nov. '23 and in Dec '23, I developed a persistent racking cough which also kept me awake at night. This cough was persistent for 3 months and there was also a layer of black dust everywhere within 2 or 3 days of damp dusting! In desperation as a result of all this, I contacted a lady called Tracey who lives quite near. In March, she came and cleaned both chimneys, (both have flue liners in situ) it took her well over an hour to clean both burners, resulting in half a black bag of soot! She was perturbed as she normally only has half a small saucepan out of 1 chimney. The day after she swept them, my cough miraculously disappeared, (as I'm 75, I had been considering asking my gp for a chest x-ray)the excessive film of black soot disappeared also. When I 'phoned A.S. Chimneys to complain, the lady who answered was dismissive of my concerns. I said that I hoped that she would speak to the person who was "supposed" to have done it, but she gave .e no such assurance. Appalling customer service!!
