Roof-Rite North East

Roof-Rite North East is a roofing company that has been operating since January 2008. It is based in Ouseburn, Newcastle upon Tyne, and typically works from Berwick to Middlesbrough, though it will consider any sized job located anywhere. All work is carried out by a team of fully trained and insured roofers, each of whom specialises in one particular field of roofing. Roof-Rite offers free estimates. Its roofing services include roof repairs, re-roofing, and specialist leadwork.

Commercial clients and private homeowners alike have entrusted Roof-Rite North East with work ranging from emergency repairs to seasonal installations, and the feedback gathered in Newcastle upon Tyne points consistently to a team that is professional, punctual and efficient. Customers writing about their orders describe Dave and his lads as attentive and honest, with one long-standing commercial client noting years of trouble-free service and invaluable experience.

An aspect raised across a number of reviews is the firm's willingness to offer straightforward advice rather than push unnecessary work; one reviewer recalls being quoted a few hundred pounds for a simple fix instead of a far larger sum proposed elsewhere, and the repair held good for years afterwards. Reviews regularly refer to the speed of response when a nursery roof was damaged by lead thieves, with someone on site within two hours, a quote agreed over the phone and the repairs finished the same day.

The team has also handled guttering work on a stone-built two-storey house and the installation of icicle lights along the roofline, taking on unusual jobs with the same friendly and capable approach. Good standards of workmanship, fair pricing and a polite manner are the themes running through the accounts, with Lewis and the wider crew named for their professionalism.
