RJL Chimneys

We have just had our first chimney sweep and log burner service by RJL Chimneys who were recommended to us by our neighbour. They provide an efficient service from booking to sending an appointment reminder and advising on price. Richard carried out the works in a friendly and professional manner, giving us advice on a new CO monitor. As this was the first time I have had the chimney swept I was expecting some dust and soot to clean up after, but Richard left my living room clean and tidy! He provided us with photos and a certificate on the same day as promised. It is clear that he knows his stuff! We will continue to have our annual sweep with them as we were very happy with the service and would highly recommend them.

My wife and I were extremely happy with the service. Luke is a very nice person who did a superb job servicing our log burner, and we would employ him again.

Richard came to clean my chimney on Tuesday, 28 July 2026, and the whole experience was excellent. He was punctual, professional, friendly, and clearly very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything, worked cleanly and efficiently, and left everything spotless when he finished. It was a genuinely great experience from start to finish, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Richard, and your company to anyone looking for a reliable chimney sweep. Thank you again for such excellent service! Kuldip 👍

Richard has looked after our chimneys for some years now. The care he takes is exemplary, not a speck of soot to be found when he has finished. You could not wish for a better job, The entire fireplace aperture is sealed with tape and sheets ensuring that the whole process is carried out quickly and cleanly. At the end of the job a certificate is issued providing proof that the job has been done to proper industry standards, what more do you want? Well done Richard, see you next year!

RJL Chimneys communicated throughout extremely promptly, with genuine friendliness, attention to detail and with care. On the day, II got a message to say Richard was on his way. He was totally on time. Richard carried out the work really professionally. Very approachable and friendly! Worked efficiently and thoroughly. Great value - which is really important to me. Richard also fitted a bird cowl as I had requested in my booking. He made an easy, professional job of it, it looks super and provides huge peace of mind as he had had to remove a bird's nest during the sweep. (I had suspected this was there and had pre-warned Richard). On inspection, after Richard left, there was not a single speck of dust to be seen anywhere. Thoroughly recommend this lovely family run business.

Easy to book, brilliant communication before, during and after the visit. Luke arrived when I expected him, did an efficient job and left my sitting room immaculate. I would highly recommend him and Richard to do your log burners, chimneys etc. Thank you for a great service.

Excellent service from start to finish. The online booking system was really convenient and easy to use. He arrived on time, was friendly and professional throughout, gave me some really helpful advice, and left everything clean and tidy afterwards. Would definitely recommend and will be using again.
