We live in a house built in 1923 and for the last few years have had trouble with damp on chimney breast after heavy rain. Other contactors have attempted to make repairs to the chimney but the rain still comes in. It is stressful trying to find a contractor who is competent reliable and trustworthy. Nick from NJ Roofing Services is all these things. I was attracted by Nick's website showing his skills and knowledge of chimneys and leadwork. From first contact to last Nick filled me with confidence that he knew his subject, was reassuringly calm, polite and, despite a heatwave, worked hard and completed the work on schedule. Nick provided a very competitive written quotes for repair or chimney removal if that had proved necessary. He patiently and quickly responded to all my questions. He identified that the old flashing was damaged, he showed us photos of the damage and carried out a skilled replacement of the lead work. The work carried out was on time, to budget and of a very high standard. The job was not straightforward as it entailed repairing a section of an old barn roof that is now part of a dwelling which had partly collapsed and was leaking. The finished part of the roof is like new. I highly recommend this person to anyone, especially if the work is not straightforward
