Muirend Roofing

Muirend Roofing was started in 2025 and is owned and operated by Sandy Cameron. The company serves Glasgow, the Central Belt, and beyond. It specialises in industry standard roofing installation and offers a 12-month guarantee on all work from completion. Services include roof installations, repairs, leak detection and repair, flat roof installation and repairs, UPVC gutter installation, roughcasting, chimney repointing, rendering, leak-proof membrane installations, skylights, and loft conversions.

Roof repairs, ageing roof replacements and new gutter installations form the work that customers describe most often, with Sandy named as the person who handles enquiries and arrangements. Punctuality is a theme that recurs across the feedback, as trades arrive at the agreed time and complete jobs within the timescales given. Communication draws frequent praise, with Sandy described as quick to respond, polite and clear when explaining the fault, the remedy and the finished result. Andy is mentioned alongside him and recognised as an experienced roofer who works well within the team.

Reviewers repeatedly highlight the practical advice given, including workable solutions for age-related problems that other contractors had dismissed before properly inspecting the roof. Customers characterise the pricing as fair and competitive, and work is seen through as agreed. Tidiness comes up often, with sites left clean and tidy once the job finishes. Repaired roofs and replacement gutters are consistently said to look great, while confidence that the work was carried out properly runs through much of the feedback, with several customers stating they would use the firm again for future roofing needs.
