Garvey Contracts Roofing

Garvey Contracts is a family-run roofing business established over 30 years ago. It operates in Belfast and across Northern Ireland. The company serves domestic, commercial and industrial clients, specialising in roof restoration. It offers roof installation for residential and commercial properties. A completed project includes work at St Malachy's College Belfast. Garvey Contracts specialises in re-roofing domestic properties. The team comprises qualified and experienced roofers. The company provides a free consultation and guarantees its work.

Honesty and clear communication emerge as the qualities that recur most across accounts of this Belfast roofing firm. Customers writing about their orders describe approaching the company after being told elsewhere that a full replacement was needed, only to have the actual fault diagnosed and a simpler remedy proposed. The team, frequently referred to by name as Thomas or Tommy, is praised for explaining each stage of the work and for keeping customers informed throughout.

Reviewers frequently point to punctuality, with workers arriving when promised and completing jobs promptly, including full re-roofs, flat roof replacements, ridge and roof tile repairs, lead flashing work and gutter installations. Tidiness comes up often, with sites being cleared daily and left neat on completion.

The standard of finish is described as professional, and the firm's manner is consistently called friendly, respectful and easy to deal with. One recurring theme is that problems were handled without fuss, whether storm damage or a challenging existing roof, and that advice was given honestly rather than used to push unnecessary work. Customers note that quotes were clear and represented good value for the size of the job. Thomas and his team are the figures most often singled out for praise.
