Flux Gutter Care

Flux Gutter Care is owned by Chris Wilton and is based in Southampton, Hampshire. Prior to August 2025, the business was known as RW Cleaning Services. It was originally owned by Chris Wilton and Russell Barrett. In April 2025, Russell left the business and Chris re-branded to Flux Gutter Care.

The company serves Hampshire and beyond and has many years of experience in the industry. It manages multiple staff, vans, and commercial contracts, and works with staff and subcontractors whose numbers vary from year to year. Services include roof cleaning, gutter vacuuming, pressure washing, PVCU and conservatory cleaning, and commercial and residential window cleaning.

Households with neglected exteriors feature prominently among the projects reviewed, with several customers describing gutters blocked by moss balls and roof debris on taller properties, as well as windows left untouched for lengthy periods. Reviewers repeatedly highlight the thoroughness of the results, noting that ledges and cobwebs are included and that finished areas are left spotless with no trace of the work. Chris is named often and praised for being friendly and helpful while explaining the process, and Russ also receives credit for going beyond what was expected.

A point that comes up frequently is punctuality, with teams arriving when promised and reminders sent beforehand, alongside clear communication from the first enquiry through to completion. Customers characterise the service as efficient, hassle-free and reasonably priced, with pressure washing and exterior cleaning complementing the gutter work. The transformation of tired exteriors is mentioned as particularly striking, and the treatment is described as gentle yet effective, leaving windows and guttering looking considerably better. Repeat business is a common theme, with many stating they would use the service again for future cleaning needs.
