We recently used Essence Roofing after coming across Ryan on social media and decided to get in contact to arrange a quote. From the first message through to the job being completed, the professionalism was top notch. The office was quick to respond, turned up when they said he would, and explained everything clearly before starting the work. The standard of workmanship was excellent and the whole process was smooth and hassle free. It’s great dealing with a company that takes real pride in what they do and keeps communication clear throughout. Would highly recommend Paul and the team at Essence Roofing to anyone looking for reliable, professional roofing work.
When we moved in to our new house in July this year we thought that we had a few more years out of our roof, unfortunately for us it turned in to an immediate job. Paul from Essence came out to survey and quote (one of the few company’s that actually did after contacting many) and he was an immediate hit with his professional manner, knowledge, friendliness and honesty. The job was started exactly when they said it would and the team that we got doing our roof was amazing. Daily updates of what they had done, always tidied up, told us of any problems that they uncovered during the reroof - immediately followed by what they did to remedy them and always with a smile. Storm Amy hit in the middle of the job and due to the expertise of the team nothing moved on the roof, my heavy gas bbq got blown all over the garden, but not one thing moved on the roof. We really felt that the roof was done in the way that they would want they’re own roof done, totally went that extra mile to make sure it was done properly, Even our neighbours commented on how professionally the job was done. Have already recommended them to friends and a woman in the hairdressers who had been let down by other roofers. My house now looks amazing thanks to Essence.
I gave a Previous 1 star review based on poor communication and not showing up which I have now altered. Company have been in contact apologised and have come out to rectify previous work. I am very grateful for this and for the apology from the owner who has been personally involved.
Highly recommend Essence Roofing and Building services. Every team member, and we met quite a few of them, were courteous, likeable, hardworking, and very respectful of our property. The work retiling our home and garage roofs took almost four weeks and during that time we were kept informed of the progress of the work, all questions before we signed up to have the work done and during the work were fully addressed; a big thank you to Stephen and Jake who were the tradesmen onsite everyday and worked on our roofs from start to finish facing the best and worst of the Scottish weather. I like processes that work and from our initial contact with the administration team a process was put in place and it flowed smoothly throughout all stages of the work. We Could not be happier with the service received. Essence installed a new roof, cladding and guttering for us a few months ago now and it looks fantastic. The price was very reasonable and all the guys Bunty, Kieran, Declan, Nathan,Jake and Paul were on site come rain or shine. They were professional, tidy and always happy to walk me through the process answering my questions. We couldn't recommend them enough!
