The work seems to have been completed to a high standard and they cleaned up thoroughly before finishing, leaving things better than they were before the started. Thanks all.
We live in a 3 story block of 6 flats. Both the top flats had water leaks which were running down the living room wall. Unfortunately, we weren't in a position at the time to have a total roof renewal so i called C & Vale for help. Andy came along and sent up a drone to see if there was any visible damage, which there wasn't. He provided us with a quote that would cover the process of elimination required in order to locate and solve the problem. The first stage of work was successful for one flat but not the other. At a later date the process of elimination continued with more work being carried out (all within the quote given to us at no extra cost). This work proved to be successful. I can't thank Andy and his team enough as i know a lot of roofing companies wouldn't have taken this job on. I'd like to say that it was also a pleasure to be able to phone up and be able to speak to an always helpful and polite voice in Donna, the office manager, rather than have to communicate with a machine each time you phone. I would 100% use this company again should the need require, and wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to anyone.
Really pleased with the quality of work and the professionalism of the team. We had our semi detached original 1920's slate roof fully replaced with repairs and modifications to our chimney stacks. During the quote consultation Andy discussed in-depth the different considerations and advised on some cost saving measures, this led to the quote coming in cheaper and with a much faster start date than competitors. My email and text enquiries were dealt with promptly before accepting the quote. The team worked throughout some pretty bad weather and got the job done in good time, and were courteous and polite throughout. Would obviously recommend.
A completely new roof was added to my garage. The new roof is outstanding. The workforce were outstanding, very polite and experts in their craft. On completion of the job my garage was left spotlessly clean and tidy. I will highly recommend their work and works ethic. To say I'm pleased would be an understatement. Everyone at C&V team have been outstanding. We needed a flat roof repair and 3 large roof windows fully replaced. Andy was very prompt in the response to my enquiry. Onsite he was very thorough and also dumbed down what we needed for me. He also was on hand, before we'd accepted his quote so under no obligation to, came out and offered his time and advice on a leak through one of the windows, what sealant to use and how to best protect it further. For the size of the job the quote was very reasonable and once accepted his team were out to us in great time (weather against us in early April). The roof was relatively straightforward, the windows less so but Tom and his team onsite were excellent in their communication and precision given some tough angles to overcome. The finished article is exactly what we wanted and we couldn't be happier with the quality workmanship provided.
Andy came out very quickly to give us an assessment of the flat roofs of our recently purchased house which were causing us concern due to rain water pooling and streaming down the external walls. After making arrangements for the necessary reparative work and maintenance, his team worked tirelessly over 3 days to do this for us, and were extremely helpful, friendly and punctual. Would highly recommend.
I couldn’t be happier with the work undertaken by Cardiff and Vale roofing, replacing my whole roof, gutters and down pipes. Everyone arrived at 8am each day and were really friendly, cleaning up any debris before leaving for the day. Gareth made sure to update me on what the plan was for the day before work started and kept me up to date with timelines for completion. Some minor damage was sustained which was unavoidable but Gareth made sure to remedy that before the work was completed. Would recommend.
