C M Chimney Sweep Leicester

C M Chimney Sweep Leicester is based in South Wigston, Leicestershire, and is owned by Craig Mee. The company provides chimney sweeping, CCTV chimney inspections, bird nest removal, stove servicing, and carbon monoxide testing. It serves Leicester, Leicestershire, Blaby, Whetstone, Countesthorpe, South Wigston, and the whole of the East Midlands. It specialises in Clearflame, Love stoves, and Nova stove servicing. Free carbon monoxide testing is offered. Modern equipment is used for chimney sweeping.

In Leicester and the surrounding area, Craig has built a loyal following through his chimney sweeping and stove maintenance work. Customers return to him year after year, with several describing repeat bookings spanning five years or more, and the reasons given are consistent: he arrives when he says he will, works efficiently and leaves the room as clean as he found it. Reviews time and again mention how much soot is removed without any mess at all, and how fireplaces, hearths and surrounding surfaces are left spotless.

Beyond sweeping, his expertise with wood burners, multi fuel stoves and open fires is singled out, including careful removal of appliances set into marble surrounds, replacement of cracked glass, repairs to fireplace tiles, respraying and resealing of pipework, and smoke testing. The advice he offers is described as knowledgeable and unhurried, with customers noting that he makes recommendations, sends follow-up links and answers questions without any pressure. A point that comes up often is his honesty, such as advising when a flue is in good order and a sweep is unnecessary. Yearly servicing of stoves and chimneys is a recurring theme, alongside the friendly, down-to-earth manner that keeps customers coming back.
