Yorkshire Roof Repairs Ltd

Came to us via a recommendation and would have no issue recommending Yorkshire Roof Repairs. Came quickly to survey the work and gave an honest approach to what was needed, started the work on the date we agreed and carried out the work very efficiently. Top service.

After heavy rain, my elderly mum's Livingroom ceiling started showing signs of water damage. Next morning I phoned Harry...he arrived within an hour, found the problem ( some idiot antenna installer had lifted the lead flashing around the chimney when fitting cables) and a broken tile ( no doubt caused by the aforementioned idiot). Harry quickly, professionally and painlessly fixed the problem. His rates are also very reasonable. I would recommend Harry to anyone with a roof problem, he's honest, reliable and obvious takes great pride in his work. Thank you Harry!

We recently had Harry carry out works to replace our garage roof with an Ultraflex flat roof system (including new joists to the rear section), along with patch repairs to hip tiles on the main property – and we couldn’t be happier with the result. From his initial visit, Harry was personable, thorough, and clearly very knowledgeable. He took the time to properly investigate the issues before suggesting solutions, which immediately gave us confidence. His recommendations were practical and well thought through – particularly his approach to the garage roof, where he combined the main structure with a rear addition that had previously been covered with polycarbonate sheets. It’s made a huge difference. Communication was excellent throughout. With the recent weather being so unpredictable, Harry kept us fully updated when rain affected the schedule, which we really appreciated. Most importantly, his work ethic speaks for itself – hardworking, honest, reliable, and genuinely a pleasure to deal with. It’s not always easy to find trades you can fully trust, but Harry is exactly that. Would highly recommend without hesitation.

Harry is so nice, very honest with his quotes and won't take advantage - definitely recommend.

He came out at very short notice as a second opinion and looked at possibilities on why I had water through into my kitchen. Patched up what he could under the circumstances. Quick response, honest and reliable! I'd definitely recommend and use again! Thanks again!

Where do we start with Harry.... We were first introduced to Harry via a family friend whom told us about his services. Harry was very communicative and very professional on first contact. We bought our first home and we needed some advice and guidance with a few issues. Harry attended and gave us clear professional advice and guidance and was a pleasure to chat to. Harry returned a few weeks later to install chimney vents in our chimney breasts and was clean, on time told us along the way exactly what it would cost and how he would do it. He tidied the area where he worked and left the place clean and tidy. We then realised Harry was as good as we were told by our family friend and soon realised we had some more jobs he could undertake. Threw every step of communication we knew what was to be done, how much it would cost and no hidden charges, just total honesty. In the last 18 months Harry has attended our property on numerous occasions, recently for an emergency roof leak. We called and within 24 hours he was able to come access and give us a solution. Harry has put us vents in the chimney breasts, removed and rebuilt an external wall, rebuilt us a new fence with solid gravel boards and solid posts and panels, applied brick slips to make a wall that looked horrendous good and blend, fit a new gate, remove the chimney to a safe height and cap it off and this week replaced tiles, membrane and lead flashing on our roof. We would highly recommend Harry, he is professional, trust worthy and honest. His workmanship is commendable and he is a true professional. Thank you Harry.

Great service from Harry and his colleague. Punctual, friendly and left absolutely no trace behind after work was completed. Great communication throughout and photos of the work after it was complete. Harry’s quote was extremely competitive and fair compared to 4 others we had. Would definitely recommend.
