Shire chimney sweeps have just cleaned and serviced my log burner . They are a husband and wife outfit. They have done an absolute fantastic job and I would highly recommend them . Thank you so much
We contacted Shire Chimney Sweep and Stove Installations to come and discuss the requirements we would need in our home for the removal of an old fire and fireplace and replace with a new rustic surround and multi fuel burner . Karen and Frank were both knowledgable and engaging about the process of having a multi fuel log burner installed. From start to finish the advice and service we received was fantastic. They installed the most amazing fire and rustic fireplace We trusted them in our home and the service and workmanship was exemplary. We would 100% recommend Shire Chimney Sweep and Stove Installations
Wow! Our stove had the makeover of it's life! We asked for a flue sweep and not only did Karen and Frank do that, they also refitted rope seals, cleaned the glass to perfection and repolished it and now looks like a new stove. It burns so much better now too, so a lot more efficient. It's so good to see people taking pride in what they do! Thank you!
I was having a log burner installed with another local business, but on installation day they found a large bird’s nest blocking the chimney. The company got in touch with Karen and Frank who came out that same afternoon and cleared the chimney successfully using CCTV to guide them. They also managed to work around a plasterer and were professional and friendly throughout. The fact they come so highly recommended by other (competing) local businesses is a testament to the quality of their work. Thanks so much, will definitely be in touch when the sweep is due!
Just has a stove installed by Frank and Karen, such a professional job, very understanding of our requirements and happy to work with a stove we had already purchased. Thanks again to you both.
Karen and Frank are the duo you need to install your log burner! They are incredibly knowledgeable and provided amazing service. A standout part was them enabling us to complete parts of the work ourselves, as we were happy to do so. They supported us to create the opening for the log burner in the chimney breast and restore the bricks, after which they installed the log burner. They were always happy to pop round, take calls, and reply to our texts if we were unsure about something or wanted advice. By supporting us to complete part of the work, they saved us thousands of pounds, and we’re really appreciative of this. We could not recommend them enough.
My mam had the chimney swept and some minor repairs to her stove. She was very pleased with the service and thoroughly recommend this company
