Elite Roofing Services Edinburgh

Elite Roofing Services is a roofing company based in Edinburgh. The business is owned by Mark and has over 36 years of hands-on roofing experience. It serves Edinburgh and surrounding areas and is fully insured. Elite Roofing Services is an Edinburgh Trusted Trader, a scheme supported by the City of Edinburgh Council and Police Scotland.

The company provides photographic and drone roof inspections, as well as roof repairs and leak detection. It offers emergency roof repairs for leaks, storm damage, and urgent issues. Elite Roofing Services specialises in traditional slate roofing, including full strip and re-slates using Spanish slates and copper nails.

Projects involving worn coverings, damaged slates and storm-related problems feature often among the jobs described, and the finish achieved earns steady approval. Mark is named for arriving when promised and for examining the work properly, while Marc and Stevie are likewise credited with a courteous and dependable manner. Communication before, during and after the work is repeatedly highlighted, from swift replies to enquiries through to explanations of what would be done and quotations delivered quickly. Customers regularly note fair and modest charges, with no costs appearing beyond what had been agreed.

The range of tasks includes renewing slates that were letting water in, stripping and replacing felt on a garage roof, tracing lead around a cupola, fitting new flashing and clearing a downpipe after a storm. Tidy working is mentioned frequently, with sites left spotless once the team departs, and follow-up visits to check completed areas are appreciated. Attendances in emergencies and returning to put guarantees right at no extra cost are spoken of positively. Also recurring is the willingness to carry out modest repairs as a stopgap while a full replacement is considered, and the number of clients who engage the firm again.
